Introducing

International action is one of the lines of action which Barcelona Provincial Council uses to meet its strategic objectives.During this mandate, its mission will be to promote the territory of Barcelona abroad in order to position its municipalities and grasp new opportunities.

The Directorate for International Relations, part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Office of the Chairman, is responsible for undertaking this task.It concentrates its works in three areas:
